Samuel Accoceberry
Samuel Accoceberry graduated from the National School of Art in Nancy and the Raymond Loewy School in Industrial Aesthetics.
Samuel collaborated for 10 years for prestigious design agencies in France and Italy, such as Arik Levy. In 2010, he launched his own studio. Samuel was honored in 2013 by the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris for all of his creations. He also received various international awards, including 3 Red Dot Design Awards and a German Design Award.
In his approach, he attaches particular importance to the valorization of know-how, to the beautiful craftsmanship, as well as to the place of the human in the project.
Accoceberry says on his design of Noe for Mireille, “These fluted and undulating shapes like a drape made me think of a kind of veil on a mast. The idea of a boat. The boat is the dream or the fantasy of another world. And among these, there is only one, that of Noah's Ark. A means as hope or saving outcome, on the future that we are told. If there was a message, it could be this one...”
